    Outsourcing a smacked bottom

    Oh my! I soooo love this, B. what a gorgeous girl - and all too reminiscent of when I started my career at the Atlanta Corp at the beginning of the 1980s. I remember this montage.
    In truth, I did not like Janus taking spanking away from the home/classroom into the work place, B. This started in the mid 1980s. Yes, it was funny. But it was also fantasy. And it was the start of PC.....even in Janus. God darn it !!

    I love this girl's yummy-scrummy bum. And also that strict trope that her botty is bare for the cane, and yet her boater is pristinely in situ ! That is a very crushingly cute trope that has stayed with me since childhood. My sister & I did not get the cane with our Southern belle, bountiful, posh, Sunday church hats on, B.....but we sure did get our shorts n panties pulled down for the whippy-stick in the living room whilst wearing baseball caps ! No fear, B! That was a Southern hazard for y'all daughters. A baseball cap was like a fifth limb !

    "Oh please Miss, I have never been caned". Well, pray, why not, B ?
    I love the fact that mom has approved of bare bottom caning. Quite right too. And yet she outsources this function ? This still fascinates me, B, as it did in the 1960s. The Janus readers' letters were replete with accounts of moms sending their daughters for a sore, well-spanked bottom courtesy of a trusted friend or family member.

    Dearest, B, I was mesmerized to discover (about 20 years ago) that Kristin Scott Thomas & her sister lived in France in the holidays. When they were naughty their mother end them to a kind, strict gentleman up the road who would administer hard, bare bottom spankings to the girls, over his knee ! the two sisters were remarkably well-behaved (if blubbing profusely) on their return. KST said how it stung so much on bare skin ! Oh my :-)
    Their mother was a kind, superhero, who understood the need for discipline; and yet the psychology & practical logistics always fascinates me, B.

    Last year, I wrote on your blog, about a good lady in Janus (1980s), who retold her childhood holiday escapades, were she and her sister were sent by mom to her brother to get their bare bottoms caned in the 1950s ! For sure, the uncle was performing a necessary task, but I find mom's rationale compelling & intriguing, already, B.

    I heard online about ten years' ago, B, an American girl (pro-CP) talking about her countless experiences growing up, with the wooden spoon over mom's knee (panties down, of course) She said she was no "virgin butt skin!" ha-ha ! I so laughed, B. And this gorgeous creature of a newby career girl in the cartoon is now no "virgin botty skin" to the cane, already !
    Ma'am has the spanking stick to hand !

    That Aunty Redmoon pics story had required selecting and even editing the drawings, because "I am picky, or nit picking..."
    The office being pc, for sure in the 80's Janus had little choice... but with imagination... I did a Secretaries story...
    Where to read the KST story... but you discovered that 20 years ago, the pc press must have deleted the story...

    Oh the wokerati media, B. God darn it !!! It makes it all much harder to compile a list of naughty princess brats for the OBB eh ?! Ha-ha!

    Evidence is not so clear in the media now. I guess that KST reference has been deleted. Oh my! It was in a fashion- type magazine, before the internet craze really.

    I really miss the Janus style Readers Letters, B. The great Dolly Parton was always so lovely & candid about her spankings growin up...bare botty and all ! I so loved that. Across a number of her memoirs too. I have quoted Dolly on your blog, frequently, B. Growing up, she gotten the strap from pop and the switch from mom (always bare bum, ditto her sisters, of course !!) ....

    ....one of my faves was when young Dolly's kind but strict father soundly whooped her with the leather strap and said "now the skin on your backside matches your red lipstick !" Oh my! How crushingly cute, B :-)
    He was very strict and makeup was not allowed for Dolly. Why , it certainly didn't do Dolly any harm, already, B eh ?!
    Oh well, we just have to try harder on our factual OBB research, B. Boo-Hoo!
