    Oh my! The Gym Lesson :-)

    This never happened to me at the gym, B, sadly ?!
    Despite being depicted by Janus :-)
    And there was no lack of "want of trying" on my part, B ha-ha!
    My princess brat antics & tantrums were simply endured by the membership, already. As was my pop mobility leggings, pop socks athleisure wear & Jane Fonda vibes sporting my big, vigilante botty on the gyms mats n sprung wooden floor :-)
    Moreover - I had seen The Gym Lesson film (Janus 1978), already, God darn it ! :-)

    The Gym Lesson had such a big effect on me, dearest B. Oh my! For sure. Bare botty canings for naughty Janus schoolgirls, caught smoking in the gym. I sure approved it!
    My fellow Southern cheerleaders, female athletes & tennis players had gotten y'all panties-down, bare bottom spankings & strappings at home. But now gym bunnies too ? :-)
    YUP! CP good. PC bad.

    What a line, B. What a super line ha-ha! ....the title of my memoirs that one, I think ! Although, such a delicious hint of comedy & schadenfruede was definitely missing the first time around as a lil' goody two-shoes girl in the 1960s. Boo-Hoos a bunch !!

    "Uncle Ed showed Papa how to use a cane. He demonstrated with Maggie who got four fiery strokes shorts and knickers down to her ankles. I got no pity from Maman, “Béatrice baisse ton short et ta culotte !”

    Perfect, B. I remember mom's canings like this ! Albeit without that delightful, crushingly cute French firmness from Maman !

    "I got my four, picked up my shorts and knickers before joining Maggie in the corner, and we sniffled together. Maman was eventually merciful and gave us Cold Cream. We thanked her, and went to my room to rub our burning bums."

    Papa's aim will improve with practise, B. And I approve. No naughty steps needed anytime soon.
    Loving 1965 ! All too visceral & lovely. Pray, I was getting the cane, bare bum, around then too, growing up. Boo-Hoo-Botties!
