Tennis summer schedule - Order of The Burning Bots.
ReplyDeleteI love my tennis B, final two pictures. And my track n field.
So as the tennis circuit moves from Indiana Wells, to Madrid, Roland Garos and Wimbledon, England (not then forgetting NY Blushing Meadows, pun intended) I am reminded that two of my real faves: Super Serena Williams and Chrissy Evert (long time commentator) gotten their bare botties soundly tanned a bunch by their mother and father respectively, when they were naughty growing up in the US. And so did their sisters in their strict, loving households.
Why, it sure did them no harm, of course!! (and it sure did me no harm, already as a strictly raised girl!!) although this was just a fact of life for American daughters back in the day, prior to PC taking hold.
So what OBB is relevant right now, B ?
Well, I love the wonderful, feisty Latvian Lil' Miss Jelena Ostapenko. She can be a right lil' princess brat of a madam, both on and off court, and her mom seems a lovely, kind but strict superhero. I would like to discover that this truly great, young player has gotten her pretty, frilly, bubble gum- pink tennis dress raised and her pretty, pinky, sporty cotton panties pulled down for a good dose of the Latvian springy cane upon her bare, chubby white botty.
Oh my! Such a bare bum smacking with the cane from her mom is harsh but harmless and was exactly how my mom punished me as a child in the 60s and 70s. I am sure it was traditional chastisement for daughters in Latvia, before naughty steps gotten invented ?!
Thank the Lord, the fairy-soft skin on my own botty has since recovered (I am 63 already!) And I can advocate such strict , effective discipline to keep Miss Ostapenko well-behaved and focused on her tennis tour and duties!
That is my OBB recommendation, B. Alas, the wokerati tend to discourage celebrity-princess-brats from talking about their whuppins, but I loved to see the fact-based reporting of Janus in the 1970s. Are we now not going back to the 70s, already, B haha!?
