Oh my! A stripey bare seat of learning! Why, I sure do know the feeling, that's me & my papa in yore!! Cane to bare botty! The early Janus art, photos n stories (70s early 80s) so powerfully translated into my living room spankings/experience at home in Georgia, 1960s. Even the British school scenes, already!
Oh my! I so remember B, this drawing from the first get-go, forty years' ago: Janus 1980 or very early 1980s. I loved Paula Hardcastle's initial, early, pioneering drawings which accurately depicted whoopings at home. CP was normal & routine, B. Paula drew some fabulous, iconic sketches & really captured the scary moment, & epitomized that eternal truism: "a picture paints a thousand words". The expressions, details, scenery, contexts & subtexts were superlative. Like a portrait, it was factual reporting.
Sadly by the mid 80s, Paula started to drift away from authentic domestic/school CP to draw fantasy, light-hearted spanking scenes: like office spankings! They had humour granted, but I lost interest. I gotten to start my career in a large corp in Atlanta in the early 80s...there were no spankings, B!

The first and last drawings are from Philat Over the barrel. The second one with the interesting mirror set up is indeed from ¨Paula Meadows; the third is from Benson, the fourth, my fav is again from Paula. The if not mistaking is from Anton...
