Well, sure thing, B. In a world of chaperones, 1950s conservative vales, strict Christian tenets and family life based around corporal punishment, that quote was so true for me in the 1960s (one of my scary, cute faves, oft said by y'all wonderful, redoubtable church moms)
I sooooo love photo 2, B. The breeze on the botty moment of truth. "Yes, on your bare bottom my girl, it's the only way naughty lil' girls like you deserve it"
For sure, B. Watching my sister's spankings, I was always mesmerized by the "panties down" moment. Oh my! It was usually mom who was the botty-smacker-in-chief at home (dad was away on business a bunch), and it was principally her "spanking stick", the flexi-rattan cane, which reddened the skin on our backsides over many years (save for some hard hands, hairbrushes & wooden spoons upon our bare bums OTK or indeed OMK, in the early years)
Oh my! Over years, I also saw a bunch my girlfriends have their panties pulled down for the strap or hand/cane/switch etc on bare buttocks in their own homes after their parents gotten mad (sleepovers, parties, get togethers, cookies n juice occasions etc) This was just normal Southern life in 1960s Georgia...and quite right too! It not just my experience, but y'all Southern belle's experiences!
Why, there was no excuse whatsoever for not having your 1950s pretty dress raised, your 1950s, cotton, all-super-dazzling- white panties slipped down, your even-whiter (!!) super-soft botty bared & proudly skelped scarlet by strict, loving parents, growing up as a naughty lil' girl in yore. Wishy-washy, modern values on "sins of church/crime & punishment" for daughters at home simply did not exist.
The final photo is the necessary, commonly-seen evidence on tender bare skin of justice being administered in the appropriate fashion, in my opinion, B. Parents who care, cane (with knickers pulled down too). That sure was my mom's method. To soundly smack our chubby, girly, bare bums very hard! Lessons are learned, B.
