It's a naughty British schoolgirl in summer uniform ...not unlike the Oaks & Pines summer attire :-) But pretty hats & pretty dresses were ubiquitous in the South, especially on church Sundays. So I guess this is the nearest thing I gotten to naughty girls in Atlanta ha-ha!

Just to say, B, that the owner of that lovely soft botty in the corner (on the O&P link) is none other than the naughty lil' Miss E, Simpson. Of course she had to stand like this in real life already, as she gotten chastised with the classic, black, ribbed-rubber-soled plimsoll on her bare bottom from her strict papa, growing up in the UK in the 1980s. She gotten no naughty steps, already! Oh my! I sure liked that particular interview with Miss Simpson in the mid-2000s.
Indeed, the sound of a hard, bendy, cheap, ubiquitous & ferocious, rubber-soled plimsoll smacking the bare botties of recalcitrant daughters at home, was just a normal, necessary fact of life in the UK in the 1950s-90s era, as detailed by the "readers' letters" & reporting in Janus magazine.
