Why, I always associated my sports with spanking, in yore, B: cheerleading (baseball), track n field & tennis. And swimming too, naturally. We princess besties compared notes (& red botties) at every chance - in the field, at our moms' coffee mornings, at training & club nights, already.
But in reality, there was probably no direct association, B. Just a fact that 99% of daughters in Georgia gotten whoopings in the 1960s n 70s, period. Ha-ha!
OK, perhaps 90% more accurately!! Oh my! Spanking central for sure.
