Oh my! Classic, wonderful Janus in the 1970s was full of similar photos, and Readers' Letters to match. Bare tales (and bare tails!) of naughty daughters & nieces who gotten their bare backsides skelped with the strap, classic plimsoll or cane at home, under the Spartan strict guidance of the post-war period (50s, 60s, 70s) aka the golden age of spanking! CP good, PC bad. Yup!
It was the same in America, B. But even stricter, already!!!
Maybe this girl will be asked to pull down her lovely, white, soft-cotton panties, and continue her movement forward and downward to bend over that old desk for a baker's dozen on her bare botty with the cane from papi, or even mommy! That was simply normal & necessary in times of yore.
In my home Georgia State, the strap was more common than the cane, and so the sound of the parental leather strap, rasping the bare backsides of naughty girls was par for the course. My sister & i gotten punished a lot with mom's "spanking stick." AKA "the switch". Mom herself was raised with the cane, hence why sister & me never gotten raised with the strap at home.
Mom's "spanking stick" was a (relatively) expensive, high quality piece of flexi, whippy-thin, nasty rattan cane. Designed for bare princess' botties!!! This was kept handy in the front of the downstairs cupboard. Mom would unfasten our overalls (dungarees) or raise our dresses and then pull our panties down (without exception!) & tan our bare buttocks with this cane, "in front of God". We gotten 12 strokes. That was the punishment. It stung to high Heaven - pulling down our knickers made pure sense from a salutary, impact perspective,
Maybe this girl above will put her hands on her head, while mother is scolding her...then pulling her panties down for the cane (while she keeps her hands atop her pretty head) Or maybe she pulls her knickers down herself to accept her whooping.
Oh my! I always gotten a strong "across the pond" affinity for British girls myself, (I'll be 64 in the New Year) and also for my wonderful bunch of Nigerian girlfriends (who I met via my work in a big corp in Atlanta) who felt the cane on their bare botties from strict, loving moms & pops; rather than say, the strap...which my besties in Atlanta & the American South gotten!
