In strict, conservative, super-sensible, sober times of yore, B, the only occasion your pudgy-soft, whiter-than-alabaster-white buttocks saw daylight, was when you gotten your swimsuit pulled down for a darn good spanking!!
Teeny-weeny bikinis were forbidden already.
Indeed, an Ol' Georgia adage says: "red skin from sun burn is BAD & harmful (ergo: we wore sun hats) whereas red skin from spanking is GOOD & harmless (ergo y'all gotten whuppin's!!)
It sure was difficult to avoid either as a Southern belle!
And the logical, crushingly cute conclusion of all this, B, is what I call the "spanking paradox" - in that you ended up bending over the sofa for the cane back at home, with a baseball hat on your head, but sadly no panties on your botty! Boo-Hoo!
Oh my! We love the details, B. And the details are just par for the course.

Well, I always love the "sunny side up" description (an implicit description of CUL NU & fairest, bare, smooth botties being chastised) It also segues nicely into the idea of "frying eggs on a well-spanked, sizzling, bare backside", which was almost experiential in yore after a darn good skelping, rather than just being metaphorical, B ha-ha! Oh my!
