These are very special, B. The colouring is key - makes for an awesome visual! For sure, " a picture paints a thousand words" & each one deserves close analysis, B :-)
ReplyDeletePicture 1: My fave, I think. "The School Lesson" indeed. It has a light-hearted touch, which illustrates that corporal punishment is normal & necessary. Cane to bare botty is simply routine, & both the headmaster & the girl are resigned to this! The girl, ironically, is not positioned correctly in this especially designed spanking desk (feet through the chair) but...the outcome is the same, B. Boo-Hoo! Sir is calm & is a real hero here, effecting Janus's New Moral Order. Love the green jumper :-)
Picture 2: a constant, repeated, Ol' fashioned, nostalgic fave, B!! I adore this one. This is me and my mother at home 1960s! My sister & I gotten very strict chastisements, no PC endured !!
Just harsh CP with the cane on our bare bums. Mom was right, we sure needed it, already. Love the pearls & green hair.

Or as you said in your next Crimson Manor post "Phew!" my bottom was as good as new." ha-ha! Unblemished, squishy-white botty awaiting punishment, B. Wonderful.

Number 5 - Oh my! Gorgeous tangerine outfit. That lovely stern, good lady is a real superhero, B, administering the martinet Cul Nu! She is ferociously kind :-)
Soooooo love the yellow "pop socks", B. Ha-ha! This drawing is from early 1980s, and at that time I was attending aerobics classes in the gym (in Atlanta) from the get-go, and y'all girls wore soft, long pop socks like those ha-ha! Aerobics was the pioneering first big gym craze - prior to dance, Reebok Step, circuits of later years etc.
Marvelous B, your sketching is delightful. Love these authentic Janus drawings. Spankings were normal. PC was light years' away, thank the Lord!
