Absolutely, B. My sentiments exactly. I am 64 and very strict & have no truck with modern wishy-washy nonsense. I do find our "mindsets & mindfulness" truly aligned, B. Which is delightful.

Exactly right, B. I strongly agree. That is the Southern way. Tangentially, I have always advocated the cane for naughty daughters' bare backsides at home, simply because that is how mom chastised me my sister in the 1960s. I always found the church moms happy to reconsider swapping the cane for the traditional strap, notwithstanding individual preferences of course.
This is naughty lil' Debbie & her real life mother, Margot. That in itself is a masterpiece, B. Mom, Margot is simply recreating the bare bottom spankings given to daughter, Debbie back in 1960s/70s yore. It was Ed Lee who created this iconic, popular double-act with Nu West (founded 1978) in the very early 1980s. Margot is a normal, classic, real life, super-hero, typical mom! Just like my own spanker-mom, B!!!!
That was the totemic beauty of Nu West, who pioneered authentic domestic spanking with the Super 8mm film cameras.
As a Southern belle, Nu West was my all-American authentic brand (& how our botties gotten branded!! Boo-Hoo!)
Fascinatingly, B, I was loving the parallel genre from Janus in the UK in late 1970s/early 80s with George Harrison Marks with the same Super 8mm films with Janus: Late for School (1977), Rear Attack (1977) Art of Caning, The Riding Lesson (1978), The Gym Lesson & The School Lesson (both 1979). Additionally of course, Alan Bell started making the wonderful Roue films, early 80s.
Like mother like daughter - I am mesmerised by Asa Jones' partners: naughty Charlotte and her lovely, real life mommy Deborah. Oh my!!! And moreover, Strictmoor Academy with Tasha Lee & her real life daughter, Angel Lee. Oh my! Check out one of the best ever baring/scolding scenes, B, "Spring Break, Scene 4."
Mom, Tasha (Mrs Cooper in film) effectively scolds , pulls down a pair of maroon knickers for an OMK hair brushing. Angel's porcelain- white, big, chubby botty faces the camera, as she is standing, maroon panties slowly heading South. Compelling!! That is exactly how mom bared me & my sister for the cane. That is the "botty reveal moment and viewpoint" that I always gotten of my lil' sister over many years at home.
Final photo, 5, above: Oh my! That sure defines my childhood, B! So visceral. Love the red gingham, & pouty-raw-sore-botty stinging in perpetuity. And rubbing. Mom is fierce yet kind. Spartan yet loving & purposeful in nurturing & guidance.
