Oh my! For me, there is a Southern touch of Schadenfreude, humour & public spankings. I recall how we princesses would get excited & scared, when one of y'all exasperated, long suffering moms said "ENOUGH ALLREADY!" & someone gotten their dress hoisted & their cotton white panties pulled down, and their dazzling-white botty skins - VOILA! "toutes nues" - smacked shiny scarlet: "bien rouges" to a cacophony of bratty-botty-bawling.
