    Oh my! Number 3 is a real fave, B. This is a perfect example of a well-smacked bottom, B. Perfect !

    Knickers down for the cane, in that position, in that exact chair!
    The buttocks are conveniently presented & the naughty girl cannot throw back a protective hand over her hiney skin, or disrupt the whooping. The skirt also stays firmly out of the way for the caning. The benefit for her, is that she can grab the chair & redirect the intense sting (with a real focus) through her arms & fingers down through the wooden chair into the floor. Trammeling the nasty energy of that big "hornets nest" Botty STING, B.

    Moreover, I would provide a cushion to give missy some comfort to her midriff n tummy, as she bends over the back of the chair for the necessary punishment, B. As my mom said back in the day, it's only her bottom (well, my bare bottom, in yore, in fact!!) that should feel discomfort....extreme discomfort of course! That is the idea of the panties-down punishment.

    A selection of four cute & lovely Janus letters (below) from the late 1970s, are very pertinent to this vintage, wonderful, third chair-caning photo B. The chastisement visual is perfect here:

    One good lady writes a nice, succinct introduction to her her letter -

    "I was a child of very strict parents and daddy often used the cane on my bare bottom. It did me a lot of good!".

    Another mom writes, in the 1970s, "my parents are both teachers, and smacked me with good, old bare bottom smackings; hand and hairbrush". Later B, it was of course necessary for this girl to feel the sting of the cane across her botty from papa, knicks pulled down naturally, to deliver salutary discipline, " dad kept a cane for me, and caned me bare in front of mum". Regarding her own daughters, it was the strap applied to their bare buttocks bending over the chair. "

    Another married lady talks about being raised with her twin sister by their single mother in the 1950s. When the girls were bad, the mother requested that her brother came to smack their bottoms:
    and so he did , good n sound. And he always pulled down their knickers for a sound caning. No half-measures. I love how the mother just approves of her brother's punishment!!!

    Finally, a daughter of a headmaster contrasts the smackings & canings over knickers at school...to the rather different experience of on a bare botty at home!! Oh dear, B! Well, that is normal & necessary, & how it should be. And indeed her father with that cane at home, was also in fact, the headmaster at her school.
    She writes: "Then at home my knickers would come down for a real bare bottom spanking. You received six strokes".

    Oh my! I do find these vintage Janus letters accompany your photos soooooo well, B :-)

    Indeed, I also love your last photo, number 5, hands on head, dearest B. It's Blushes I think (they're all Blushes) but it also reminds me of the early Janus editions in the late 1970s - to match those Readers' letters again. Corporal punishment defined, B: her bare botty caned. I approve. And thus it's a stern, authentic reminder of my own strict childhood too, when I (or my younger sister) was disobedient or badly behaved at home back in the 1960s n 70s.

    For pic 3 she should have a cushion for her knees, don't want to feel distracted ;)
