    Drawing 3: Good job mom!
    Number 3 is my fave, B. Love the colouring. Mom takes naughty daughter to the spanking chair, for a smacked bottom. Simples!
    Bring back the brush !!!
    And a spontaneous skelping of the orthodox surface, already!!
    Oh my! Whatever bad words n behaviour gotten done, why, lil' missy here will not be doing them again, already!

    I so remember this original sketch, first time, in the mid 1980s in Janus.
    For each magazine back then, Janus featured a black n white pencil drawing on the inside cover. This started in 1981 & continued for about ten years! Y'all will recall the original Paula Meadows' drawings, for example, which were the first of these art pieces in the early 1980s. Great memories, B!

    The standard British plimsoll is the perfect botty smacker! And traditional in yore, thank the Lord.
    What a great scene, early Janus (reminds me a bit of GJC series which was later).

    Those wonderful, vintage Readers' Letters in Janus (& Roue) in the 70s & 80s, confirmed that the sound of the cheap, nasty, hard plimsoll smacking the bare backsides of recalcitrant girls at home was common in the UK 1950s-1990s.
    Indeed, I always thought the ubiquitous plimsoll was a far superior implement to y'all American paddles, B. Bendy & stingy & perfect on sensitive, bare schoolgirl buttocks.

    The advent of plush gyms, aerobics & Jane Fonda sequences in the early 1980s (Oh my! Loved those times) saw the gradual demise of cheap, lovely UK plimsolls (& stingy, basic American sneakers) as y'all graduated to superior quality brands of sports trainers & apparel. Athleisure wear as it's now called, B (with no hint of smacked bottoms, sadly).

    Oh my! But in yore, naughty girls were all too aware that these plimsolls could be swiftly removed from their kit back (or preferably, a size 10, solitary plimsoll residing in the cupboard) & repeatedly applied to their sensitive, bare, de-knickered buttocks if necessary: if their school reports were unsatisfactory, or other Church sins, lies or misdeeds were discovered !!!
    The Plimsoll Line indeed, B :-)

      With AI number 3 had a bad aberration, the bathbrush was blue!
      Number 2 was cut out from a larger drawing, enlarged and AI colored, then edited because AI had made it too yellowish. Plus an OP friend helped with her grey hair.
      Not to forget leather slippers for stingy fessée cul nu!
