    This was England of strict yore, B: more caning, less punting !
    Not so much these days, sadly !!!!

    Well, yes B my, sister & I sported bare-caned botties beneath our dresses in the 1960s & 70s. Mind the breeze on our Lindy Hop trad, pretty dresses. CP was normal. Groundings & naughty steps were light years' away !!!
    Earning their stripes - this boating pic aligns with maternal values in Nigeria & Singapore today.....cane to bare botties for naughty daughters is still simply par for the course for traditional moms right now. Quite right too !

    Would love to see some red stripes across naughty Charlotte's superlative bottom on the link !!!!

      Number 1 was b&w from Kane, I colorized it with help from Tetiana.
      N° 2 is Hardcastle from Janus 113, I also colorized it with help
      N°3 is also from Kane
      N°4 I can't remember from where
      N°5 the O&P link pic is also from Kane, I colorized it as well with help
      And the Asa link pic with Charlotte doing a face!
