    Well, pray, this was life in the South. Observations. Viewings !!
    It was not a video. It was family life, societal mores, community values, Church culture & social etiquette. Period !!!

    But, most surprisingly, B, my sister & I did not get punished in front of friends or wider family.
    Mom was actually shy about "others" seeing our bare botties (and our duly striped, bare red botties !!!) especially in the context of punishment, & felt that our crying, scolding, baring & canings should be in private. That is fair enough, B. I respected that.
    A whooped bottom was pure theatre, & mom was big on humbling but never humiliation (tough love, with love being paramount).

    My stern grandmother (mom's mom ) did see us caned occasionally, but there was no audience as shown in these lovely pictures. I like the final caning pic obviously ! And it was that original grandmother who caned my mom's bare backside when she was a child growing up in the 1930s/40s.

    As you know, B, sister & I did not get our bums bared or smacked in the park or shopping mall growing up. Sadly ! ha-ha !
    In contrast to our other princess besties, all our tannings were in private at home. Boo-Hoo!
    We got the odd sharp slap or two on our bare legs, & then it would be knickers down for the cane on our bare buttocks properly at home. That was mom's modus operandi.

    Oh my! I sure did see a huge bunch of our girlfriends have their bare botties smacked in public in the 1960s, and also smacked, strapped or caned in their own homes by mom or pop. It was par for the course. It was beyond scary yet exciting, naturally. This was normal in Georgia "Spanking central", back then. Y'all thought nothing of it. CP was the foundation stone of family life.

    Obviously, in retrospect, B, I wish sister and I had gotten our bare bottoms chastised in front of family & friends and in public ha-ha-ha !!! Oh my! That would have been a wonderful platform for my memoirs & writing. Pray, rosy-stingy-hints of nostalgia-bots indeed.
    But you know B, that I prefer to focus on factual corporal punishment that I endured, (& y'all endured) rather than any fantasy scenarios. And the strict South was a botty-sore reality itself in yore, no need for fantasy. Oh my !!!

    I'm not usually a fan of the Nurse context, notwithstanding the iconic, silent film, "The Nurse's Lesson" (Janus 1980 respect !!!), but these two uber-performative, plumply-swelling, wiggle-jiggle, squishy-white botties skelped by Miss Iceni are priceless, B !!!! Oh my!
