    That is young, precocious, beachball-bottomed moi back in the day, B ha-ha !

    Yup! With my huge, trad, pretty, snow-white 1950s, conservative under-panties ....duly pulled down to my knees, of course, for a well-smacked botty with the cane from mom for bad misdemeanors. Ditto for my lovely, younger sister. Boo-Hoo !

    Oh so strict back then (as pray, it should be, B!)

    Yup! Love the last one, dearest B.
    Two thoughts on this- love the duality.
    First: the short dress shows the punishment
    Second: the short dress can also hide the bare bottom punishment - les fesses cul nu (apart from the lowest stripe)

    Naturally, maman is strictly in charge & can tan their naughty botty skins accordingly, B. To show or to hide .....depending on her girls' diary commitments & her decisions accordingly :-)


    Growing up, (60s & 70s) my sister & I wore those 1950s, very conservative bathing suits (two piece). The swim suit bottoms (canary yellow fleecy-towelling-material was a fave for me. Or pastel/navy blue combos. Or princess pink, of course !!!) were very large & covered our chubby botties perfectly.....cane stripes were hidden !!! This could be advantageous in certain social environs & outdoor gatherings.

    These 1950s bathing suits were very conservative, albeit fashionable, and of course their large size also gave us (un-sun tanned, covered buttocks) AKA the Coppertone Girl tan lines and y'all dazzling pouty, white botties, B, ha-ha!. Oh my! Oh my!
    The latter were a Southern fashion statement & icon, already, B (especially with some whooping red tan lines or marks upon the de-knickered, denuded, snow -white skin awarded from strict mom or pop !!!!!)

    Sister & i, and y'all Church girls were not allowed bikinis, B. They were strictly forbidden. We never saw them. Or asked for them.
    We were not rebellious. We were strictly raised goody two-shoes girls, for sure. .So bikinis were never part of my mindset growing up. Oh my!

    Indeed, moreover, when I was student & then beyond (late 1970s), I never wore bikinis in adult life either (they were fashionable in the mid-1980s) because I always wanted to keep my large, bouncing, fairest-skinned botty a perfect whiter- than- white , B .

    OK, yup, the boys liked & were intrigues by its blancmange squishy--whiteness & fairy-softness ha-ha, & indeed my stark golden Southern sun tan lines; but in truth, B, I have always kept my "Coppertone girl" lily white-skinned bum in its natural skin-tone, because it simply reminds me of happy (if strict) Southern values, totems, experiences & icons ....and yes, of stern corporal punishment at home in yore growing up. Oh my!

    Sorry, I gotten off-piste here, but that dress pic (last 2 pics) stimulated my nostalgic thoughts, B.

      Imagine, that last pic would have taken days with a photo program and with AI it only took a few clicks... and next to impossible to have the woman in green crossing her arms...
