Stingy Botty Time

It's normal, harmless & necessary, B.
With doors and windows open, the elderly, pious neighbours (all attending church together on Sundays) can hear the resounding SMACK! of the rattan cane upon the sensitive skin of squishy-bare buttocks. And the raucous bunny-wailing of a naughty lil' girl who is admonished by her strict, kind Maman. That is the procedure in this house.
Fear not, B! Poor-Lil-Miss-Sore-Botty-Scarlet-Claudette will be over the white picket fence at those neighbours' house in just a few hours' time: juice n cookies at the ready. Her shifting uncomfortably on the breakfast stool. Boo-Hoo! Oh my! I sure remember all this from the 1960s!
No one bats an eyelid, B. It's all just routine. For sure, y'all talk about the whoopings for a brief moment. It's normal. The neighbours approve & applaud dear Maman. And then it's forgotten, already. Until next time lil' missy is naughty. Hark the cane on the bare ? SMACK! SMACK! SMACK!
