Nice drawings, B, I like the second one best: lovely vintage scene, when bare red bottoms were normal & necessary.
In 1960s yore, y'all girls (in our church community, at least) wore those traditional, Ol' fashioned, conservative, voluminous, cotton, white 1950s panties, which covered up our chubby botties almost completely. Oh my! And indeed they usually covered up the evidence of a well-smacked bottom (ditto, large two piece 1950s bathing costumes).
Oh my! Moreover, while the cane was applied to bare buttocks exclusively & carefully (namely mine & my sister's !!!) the more common leather strap was sometimes applied to backs of thighs in a more general, expansive, liberal manner. And so the whuppin' was far harder to conceal!
Just my rather detailed observations of Southern domestic life, B!!
