Photo 2: Oh my! Dearest, B, naughty Lil' Miss Rosaleen was naughty in the park (this was a normal, common site in Atlanta in the 60s & 70s!) She gotten her backside spanked as a temporary measure (how wonderful!) And then, alas, when she gotten home, she gotten punished with the cane exactly like photo 5. Well, not quite exactly, B. Sophie - I do love Sophie, B. Superlative bum. Although the whole "Girls Boarding School" brand as such, is not a fave (nothing compared to say, Strictmoor Academy) But I have always really loved that word Rohrstock :-) It's such a delightfully cold, scary & Spartan word, B eh?!
And I do remember a bunch of Readers' Letters from Germany in Janus & Roue, detailing how naughty daughters gotten the Rohrstock cane on their bare bottoms at home in the 1950s, 60s & 70s. It was nothing but normal in yore. And I approved of this firm, traditional discipline of course.
Talking of which, the black n white photos of Kate yesterday (on Asa's site) bending over for the cane on her exposed, soft "marshmallow nates" are beyond sensational, B. I soooo truly love those, B.
