Oh yes! Stealing apples sounds lovely, B. Love the vintage, & especially black n white. It's also a reminder of how we gotten our bare bottoms tanned a bunch for these naughty things we did back in yore. Par for the course, already.

Dearest, B, in my late teens as a student, discovering Janus in the late 1970s; and then the so-called New Janus from January 1980; I invented a black n white drawing. This drawing had scenario of four squares, based on those fabulous, lovely early Paula Meadows' drawings in the early 1980s. You know the ones, B. A schematic with four squares. This image/vignette has stayed with me for over forty years, B. Inspired by Janus & Paula ! And naturally, my strict, religious childhood in Georgia.
Square1: A mother daughter argument ensues, glanced with interest by a grandmother (or old lady maid?) who is dusting the ornaments with a feather duster.
Square 2: Mom is now spanking the daughter over her knee over her daughter's dungarees' clad buttocks on the sofa. The daughter looks far too comfortable, nonchalent and "ain't bothered!!" The grandma observes: she looks on quizzically but unapprovingly. The girl is not getting just desserts it seems.
Square 3: Mother is now holding the daughters hands & torso firmly across her knee. Grandma is now smacking the daughter's perfectly presented bottom with the feather duster cane. The girl's dungarees are unfastened & pulled down around her knees, straps, poppers & flaps abound on the floor. Her panties are also positioned around her knees, just above the dungarees. Mother has a look of surprise, discovery and approval. The spanking seems to be working!!
The naughty young girl now has an intense screamed expression of discomfort n trauma as she feels the cane on her bare botty !!! The sting is infinitely terrible, compared to picture 2. Grandma is wise, experienced & strict. She has a stern face of contentment. Of justice being carried out. After picture 2, Grandma has obviously ignored protests & unfastened the girls clothes & lowered the daughter's protective coverings (overalls & knicks) and applied the cane to a tender bare seat of learning for good effect (much to mom's approval)...a proper spanking, a well-smacked bottom. Grandma shows mom how a spanking should be done. The hand spanking over dungarees n panties was useless!!!
Square 4: Mom & grandma are conversing. Mom is now calm with catharsis. She is listening to grandma with purpose & approval. Two "thought bubbles" picturing a school cane on bare striped buttocks (dress up n panties down) are denoted for both mom & grandma. Obviously grandma is explaining that mom now needs to purchase a special new spanking cane & use it on her daughter's bare backside whenever she is naughty. That is now the punishment going forward. The end result is salutary, harsh and harmless! And a well-behaved girl is the result. The daughter is pictured in the background, facing the wall, hands on head, dungarees n panties around ankles, her striped botty proudly on show. VOILA! Hugs n smackies, B. Brenda xx
