    Delightful bunch, B. Really lovely & colourful. Such fresh nostalgia harnessing those original Janus black pencil sketches.
    Drawing 3 is fave - a common scene in our house !!!
    And a common scene for y'all moms n daughters in yore. Good moms are ferociously kind, B!!!!!
    I've always adored her zany lime n yellow dress. The botty rouge look nice n sore. Of course, I like to thnk lil' mossy's very own quality, thin flexible ratan cane is in the cupboard, B !!!!
    ......ready for that tender, pale, soft bottyland, when bad behaviour routinely necessitates it, B!!!
    Pray Let that good mother be the judge !

    I witnessed countless bare bottom spankings at home for my girlfriends growing up in the South, B. It was the only punishment in town & we girls never questioned it, already !
    Why, yes for sure - it was always scary & exciting!!! If unavoidable in our traditional, Church-orientated homes n communities in 1960s Georgia .

    This is very Janus, B. I love it. The rasping-raw sound of the ubiquitous, cheap, nasty, classic, traditional plimsoll SMACKING the bare, tender-skinned buttocks of naughty daughters in good homes was quite common in the UK in the 1970s & early 80s (Janus's halcyon days) I was all for it, as a normal strictly raised girl, myself and the cane too, of course.

    The "slipper to bare botty" narrative (& sound!!) for recalcitrant daughters at home, was well-documented in the Janus Readers' Letters, B. I sooooooo loved those accounts. Oh my! often complemented by the drawings and vintage photos y'all loved. Vintage now for sure....if not then !

      Vintage indeed!
      Number 4 is so classic!! It was quite small, and enlarged thanks to AI. Enlarging is something AI has greatly improved vs Photoshop...
      I also like the even older number 5 from Benson, which I have edited... made it more Janus like!
      I should try another 1950/60 story...
