    WOW! Oh my! Y'all did love this edition of Janus, B ;-) xx

    Why, this Janus 23 It had such a big impact on my life: albeit Pippa Marshall was the unique & genius content & context for me personally at that time...and since !!!!! :-)

    Why yes, B, 42 years' ago, B !! Janus in the fall ! With alas, schoolgirl knickers sadly in the fall too ha-ha! It seems like yesterday, already!

    Way back in November 1982 (zut alors B!), Janus 23, saw a gamechanger for this edition, with such quality photos & magazine design.
    Naughty schoolgirls Nicola Redway & Priscilla Walters became such Janus icons over the years. Along with young Pippa Marshall they were some of the early pioneering celebrities, before Sophie Fennington and many others.
    Boo-Hoo! This edition featured nasty kind Sir....the redoubtable Mr Arthur Jardine & his cane ! ;-)

    I especially love the photo on the link. It's such a quintessential. classic "good, smacked bottom for you, young lady" photo from the spanker's/observer's point of view, of course.

    I love Janus in the 1970s/early 80s, when traditional, well-to-do, boutique-brown schoolgirl uniform & knickers gotten adjusted so that behaviour could be adjusted with a firm, Spartan, stinging cane to bottyland ! Quite right too, B.
