  2. Hello, I thought I commented yesterday but it didn’t go through? The first picture was used by Dev on his Maid for all seasons book. I still miss the chats with his girls. Bye for now, Aussie Jenny

  3. Lovely cobalt blue dress, B. Janus had a powerful, regular theme of naughty girls being told to select a "botty smacker" from the cupboard. Or indeed mom, pop or the School teacher/Head choosing an implement. A scary sense of anticipation is evoked.

Thinking back to my childhood corporal punishment, we only had the cane in our house, not a selection of implements ha-ha! Sister & I would wait in the living room while mom fetched the dreaded whippy, rattan rod. Then it was hands on our heads for scolding & clothing adjustments....our 1950s panties pulled down to our knees.

Oh my! We only ever gotten punished on a completely bare botty, from the first to the last over many years. Why, that was indeed the idea. The BIG STING! it was never questioned and there was simply no other practical (or indeed religious) way of doing it, other than on bare skin. We usually gotten 12 strokes, so the message sure gotten through !!!!

Bare, soft bum made perfect sense for the nasty cane (as I always recommended later to moms) so it stung like absolute Hell on earth, albeit totally harmless, salutary...and yes, completely fair & necessary for daughters' discipline, in my humble view, B! As my mother harshly said, as our panties were pulled down to our knees "it is punishment, Brenda!!"
    Sure thing, B.

On your link, Charlotte's peek-a-boo-botty is divine, B. All bare, ready n tender, preparing for the slipper or cane from Asa. Green gingham is a sublime frame for the target.
    Hugs n smackies.
    No-nonsense Brenda xx

    1. I find the selection of implements unrealistic, but it sure has inspired great drawings! Pity there's few duos of drawings with selecting the implement and applying it...
      Hugs and smackies ;)
